How You Can Help
Contact the Nebraska Governor and (if you are a Nebraskan) your State Senator to tell them that the failure by the State of Nebraska to protect public health and safety in Whiteclay is unacceptable. Ask them to undertake a serious study of the situation and take the necessary administrative and legislative steps to address it. Phone calls, letters or emails are equally effective.
Contact the Governor of Nebraska:
Gov. Dave Heineman
Office of the Governor
P.O. Box 94848
Lincoln, NE 68509-4848
Email: on the internet at www.governor.nebraska.gov/mail/govmail.html
Contact your Nebraska State Senator:
P.O. Box 94604
Lincoln, NE 68509
Additional contact information for your Senator is found on the Legislature website at www.nebraskalegislature.gov/senators/senator_list.php.
If you don’t know who your State Senator is—and you are registered to vote—you can identify your legislative district through the State of Nebraska VoterCheck webpage. Visit www.votercheck.necvr.ne.gov and enter your name in the registrant search. Then go to the Senators list on the Legislature website (above) to find the State Senator serving your district.
